What’s one thing you wish the business world would borrow from the acting world?
Performance is all about community. From the performers on the stage, to the technicians enhancing the experience, to a stage manager overseeing the operation, to the audience there to support, engage, and escape – every piece contributes to the community. It is all too obvious that a lot of the business world has abandoned its’ sense of community. Each piece of the puzzle fits to make the whole, so too does each element of a business operation. A change in design is often unnecessary, but in most cases, just a change of perspective can turn a seemingly successful business into a thriving communal endeavor.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
In 2025, I was received the Walt Disney Legacy Award. This award involves a nomination process where fellow cast members submit applications describing the values and accomplishments of their peers. The applications are committee-reviewed, and less than one percent of the entire Walt Disney Company has received or will ever receive a Legacy Award. This award means so much to me because it is an acknowledgement of dedication and commitment. I absolutely adore what I get to do, and I am so proud to leave a legacy of my own.
What is your most marked characteristic?
My work ethic. I started wanting to work in some capacity when I was very young. I was helping run the concession stand at the baseball park when I was 11 years old. I would calculate the totals in my head as I collected the hot dogs, sodas, and candy. This work ethic has translated well professionally, as I am often the first to learn new tunes or arrangements. I learned Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro simply because I wanted to. When my barbershop quartet needed help getting some recording done, I taught myself Logic Pro, Audacity, and Melodyne.
What is your personal motto?
Why not try?
What's the sports team you give your all for?
One of my first loves was and will always be The University of Georgia Bulldogs Football Team. I am a die-hard Dawg to my core. I’ve had the opportunity, even since moving to Los Angeles, to see them both in the Rose Bowl in 2018 and the National Championship Game in 2023. If it’s a Saturday in the fall and the Dawgs are on, you know where to find me.
